What You'll Need

1 pound ground turkey
2 cups cooked brown rice or regular long-grain white rice
1 each egg
3/4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves, crushed
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 jar (24 ounces) Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce or Tomato, Basil & Garlic Italian Sauce

How to Make It

    Mix the turkey, rice, egg, oregano, garlic powder and black pepper thoroughly in a medium bowl.  Shape the turkey mixture firmly into 25 meatballs.

    Heat the sauce in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through.

  • Serving Suggestion: Serve with a Caesar salad and sautéed broccoli rabe with garlic or broccoli florets. For dessert serve oatmeal raisin cookies.
