What You'll Need

2 pounds ground beef
1 jar (16 ounces) Pace® Picante Sauce
24 taco shells, warmed
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese or Monterey Jack cheese (optional)
1 1/2 cups shredded lettuce (optional)
1 1/2 cups chopped tomatoes (optional)
1 1/2 cups sour cream (optional)

How to Make It

    Cook the ground beef in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until it's well browned, stirring often to separate meat. Pour off any fat. Stir the picante sauce in the skillet and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 5 minutes.

    Divide the meat mixture evenly among the taco shells. Top with cheese, lettuce, tomato and sour cream, if desired.
