What You'll Need

3 pounds boneless pork shoulder
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 jar (24 ounces) Prego® Bacon Provolone Sauce
6 Pepperidge Farm® Plain Kaiser Rolls
6 slices provolone cheese (about 6 ounces)

How to Make It

  • 1

    Season the pork with the salt, black pepper and garlic powder.  Place the pork into a 6-quart slow cooker.  Pour the sauce over the pork.

    Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 9 hours or until the pork is fork-tender.  Remove the pork to a cutting board.  Spoon off any fat from the sauce in the cooker.

    Using 2 forks, shred the pork.  Return the pork to the cooker.  Divide the pork mixture among the rolls.  Top with the cheese.

  • Time-Saving: You may also cook this recipe on HIGH for 5 to 6 hours or until the pork is fork-tender.
