What You'll Need

1 cup uncooked regular cooked long grain white rice
1 clove garlic, minced
4 cups Swanson® Chicken Broth or Swanson® Certified Organic Chicken Broth or Swanson® Natural Goodness® Chicken Broth
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

How to Make It

  • 1

    Cook the rice and garlic in a 2-quart nonstick saucepan over medium-high heat for 2 minutes or until the rice is browned, stirring often.

    Add 1/2 cup broth and cook and stir until the broth is absorbed. Add the remaining broth 1/2 cup at a time, stirring until all the broth is absorbed and the rice is tender and creamy, about 25 minutes in all.

    Stir in the pepper and cheese.
