What You'll Need

1 can (10 1/2 ounces) Campbell’s® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup (Regular or 98% Fat Free)
3/4 cup milk
1 1/4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (about 5 ounces)
1/2 cup corn flakes, crushed
2 pounds small whole white onions (about 30), peeled

How to Make It

    Stir the soup, milk and 1/4 cup cheese in a small bowl.  Stir the cornflake crumbs and remaining cheese in a medium bowl.

    Place the onions into a 3-quart shallow baking dish.  Spoon the soup mixture over the onions.  Sprinkle with the cornflake mixture.

    Bake at 350°F. for 45 minutes or until the onions are tender.

  • Ingredient Note: Try this easy method for peeling small white onions. Cut off the ends of the onions and place them into a bowl. Pour boiling water over the onions and let stand for 5 minutes. Pour off the water and then slip the skin off the onions.
