What You'll Need

1/2 pound ground beef (85% lean)
1 medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
1 small green pepper, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
1/2 teaspoon basil leaves, crushed
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves, crushed
3 cans (10 3/4 ounces each ) Campbell’s® Healthy Request® Condensed Tomato Soup
4 cups water
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 cups elbow macaroni, cooked according to package directions without salt (about 4 cups)

How to Make It

  • 1

    Cook the beef, onion, pepper, basil and oregano in a 4-quart saucepot over medium-high heat until the beef is well browned, stirring often to separate meat. Pour off any fat.

    Stir the soup, water, lemon juice and macaroni in the saucepot and cook until the mixture is hot and bubbling.
