What You'll Need

3/4 cup Campbell’s® Tomato Juice
2 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
1 medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 slices process American cheese, cut in half (about 2 ounces)

How to Make It

    Thoroughly mix the tomato juice, beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, horseradish, if desired, Worcestershire and pepper in a large bowl. Shape the beef mixture firmly into an 8 x 4-inch loaf and place in a 3-quart shallow baking pan.

    Bake at 350°F. for 1 hour 10 minutes.

    Place the cheese on the meatloaf and bake for 5 minutes or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the cheese is melted. Let the meatloaf stand for 10 minutes before slicing.
