What You'll Need

3 1/2 cups Swanson® Chicken Broth (Regular, Natural Goodness® or Certified Organic)
1 medium carrot, sliced (about 1/2 cup)
1 stalk celery, sliced (about 1/2 cup)
2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cubed (about 1/2 pound)
1/2 cup uncooked medium egg noodles

How to Make It

    Heat the broth, vegetables and chicken in a 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat to a boil.

    Stir the noodles in the saucepan. Reduce the heat to low. Cook for 15 minutes or until the noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.

Easy Substitutions

  • Tip: For Lemon & Pepper Chicken Noodle Soup- Prepare as above. Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice and a dash of ground black pepper for last 5 minutes of cooking time.
  • Tip: For Chicken & Mushroom Noodle Soup- Use vermicelli or spaghetti, broken in 2-inch pieces for the egg noodles. Add 1 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms and 1/2 cup sliced green onions for the last 5 minutes of cooking time.
