What You'll Need

2 pounds filet mignon,about 3/4-inch thick (about 4 filets)
to taste ground black pepper
1 red bell pepper, grilled, seeded and thinly sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, grilled, seeded and thinly sliced

How to Make It

  • 1

    Brush the beef with olive oil.  Season with the black pepper.

    Lightly oil the grill rack and heat the grill to medium.  Grill the beef for 10 minutes for medium-rare or until desired doneness, turning the beef over once halfway through grilling.  Remove the beef from the grill and let stand for 5 minutes.  Garnish the beef with the peppers.
