What You'll Need

2 pounds ground beef
1 jar (16 ounces) Pace® Picante Sauce
10 ounces (1 bag) tortilla chips
4 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese or shredded Cheddar Jack cheese (about 16 ounces)
1 small tomato, chopped (optional)
2 tablespoons sliced pitted black olives (optional)
2 tablespoons sliced green onions (optional)

How to Make It

  • 1

    Heat the oven to 350°F.

  • 2

Cook the beef in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until it's well browned, stirring often to separate meat. Pour off any fat.

  • 3

Stir the picante sauce in the skillet and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 5 minutes or until the beef is cooked through.

  • 4

Divide the tortilla chips evenly between 2 (12-inch) aluminum pizza pans. Evenly divide the beef mixture and cheese over the chips. Bake for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Top with chopped tomato,  sliced pitted ripe olives and sliced green onion, if desired.
