What You'll Need

1 can (2.8 ounces) French's® French fried onions (Original or Cheddar) (about 1 1/3 cups)
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 egg
1 1/4 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1/2 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese

How to Make It

  • 1

    Place 1 cup onions and the chili powder into a resealable plastic bag.  Seal the bag and crush the onions with a rolling pin.

    Beat the egg in a shallow dish with a fork.  Pour the onion mixture onto a dish.  Dip the chicken into the egg.  Coat with the onion mixture.  Place the chicken onto a baking sheet.

    Bake at 400ºF for 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.  Sprinkle with the cheese and remaining onions.
