What You'll Need

3 cups prepared Idahoan® mashed potatoes, warmed
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 can (2.8 ounces) French's® French Fried Onions (Original or Cheddar) (about 1 1/3 cups)
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (about 4 ounces)

How to Make It

  • 1

    Heat the oven to 350ºF.  Stir the potatoes, sour cream, milk and garlic powder in a medium bowl.

  • 2

    Spoon half the potato mixture into a 2-quart casserole.  Sprinkle with half the onions and half the cheese. Top with the remaining potato mixture.

  • 3

    Bake for 30 minutes or until the potato mixture is hot.  Top with the remaining onions and cheese.

  • 4

    Bake for 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
