What You'll Need

3 cups prepared Idahoan mashed potatoes, warmed
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/3 cups French's® French Fried Onions (Original or Cheddar)
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (about 4 ounces)

How to Make It

  • 1

    Heat the oven to 350ºF.  Stir the potatoes, sour cream, milk and garlic powder in a medium bowl.

    Spoon half the potato mixture into a 2-quart casserole.  Sprinkle with half the onions and half the cheese. Top with the remaining potato mixture.

    Bake for 30 minutes or until the potato mixture is hot.  Top with the remaining onions and cheese.

    Bake for 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
