What You'll Need

12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate pieces or coarsely chopped semi-sweet, bittersweet or white chocolate
Colored or chocolate sprinkles and/or your favorite chopped nuts (optional)
12 sugar ice cream cones

How to Make It

  • 1

    Place the chocolate into a medium microwavable bowl. Microwave on MEDIUM for 30 seconds. Stir. Repeat until the mixture is melted and smooth.

    Place the sprinkles onto a dish, if desired.  Line a baking sheet with wax paper.

  • 3

    Dip 1 inch of the wide end of each cone into the chocolate.  Coat with the sprinkles, if desired.  Place the cones, wide end-down, onto the baking sheet.  Let stand for 15 minutes or until the chocolate is firm.
