What You'll Need

1 3/4 cups Swanson® Chicken Broth or Swanson® Certified Organic Chicken Broth or Swanson® Natural Goodness Chicken Broth
3/4 cup uncooked long grain white rice

How to Make It

    Heat the broth in a 2-quart saucepan over medium-high heat to a boil.

    Stir the rice in the saucepan. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until the rice is tender.

  • Easy Substitution: This recipe will work with any variety of Swanson® Broth.
  • Florentine Simmered Rice: Stir 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, crushed into the broth. Add 1 cup chopped fresh spinach with the rice. Stir in 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese before serving. Serve with additional Parmesan cheese.
