What You'll Need

Crisco® butter-flavored vegetable cooking spray
3/4 pound ground turkey
1/2 cup chopped peeled apple
2 green onions, chopped (about 1/4 cup)
3/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon apple pie spice or 1 pinch each ground cinnamon and allspice
1/2 cup chili sauce
1/2 cup Smucker's® apple jelly
4 Pepperidge Farm® Hamburger Buns, split and toasted

How to Make It

  • 1

Heat the broiler.  Spray a broiler pan with the cooking spray.

  • 2

Thoroughly mix the turkey, apple, green onions, lemon pepper, salt and apple pie spice in a medium bowl.  Shape the turkey mixture into 4 (3/4-inch thick) burgers.

  • 3

Broil the burgers 6 inches from the heat for 10 minutes or until cooked through, turning them over once halfway through the broiling time.

  • 4

Heat the chili sauce and jelly in a 1-quart saucepan over medium heat until the mixture is hot and bubbling, stirring occasionally.

  • 5

Top the burgers with the chili sauce mixture.  Serve the burgers on the buns.
