What You'll Need

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 beef flank steak (about 1 1/2 pounds)
2 medium onions, sliced (about 1 cup)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, crushed
2 cups Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce or Roasted Garlic & Herb Italian Sauce

How to Make It

  • 1

Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook for 10 minutes or until well browned on both sides. Remove the beef from the skillet. Pour off any fat.

  • 2

Add the onions, garlic and Italian seasoning to the skillet and cook until the onions are tender. Return the beef to the skillet. Stir in the Italian sauce. Reduce the heat to low and cook the beef for 3 minutes for medium-rare or until desired doneness.

  • 3

Slice the beef into thin diagonal slices. Serve with the sauce.
